A Japanese named named SAL9000 tied the knot with video game character Nene Anegasaki on November 22^nd. It is the first time that a wedding involving a virtual character is celebrated.

Nene Anegasaki is a character of the video game Love Plus on Nintendo DS. The Japanese law does not authorize such a union, which forced SAL9000 to go all the way to the island of Guam for the wedding.
