On December 8^th, Elizabeth Poblete was lifting weights in a Sao Paulo gym, training for an upcoming competition, when she felt unwell. After a quick doctor examination, she gave birth to a premature baby boy!

Poblete didn’t know she was six months pregnant.

“It was a surprise for me,” said trainer Horacio Reis. “A week ago I acted as a judge in a competition in Chile and this girl was competing. All went well and she won the competition. I could see she was a big girl, round and strong. That’s all I noticed.”

Elizabeth Poblete represented Chile at the Beijing summer olympics.
