Ronald Hunt, 56, is officially on disability leave. So far, he has pocketed $150,000 over the course of three years. But in reality, he is healthy and defrauding his insurance company.

Rather than hiding at home, he decided to appear on a home improvement show on TV. Bad idea. He was immediately spotted by an employee of the insurance company and reported to the state Department of Insurance.

Hunt pleaded guilty to two felony counts of fraud and was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and he will have to pay back more than $180,000.
