Le Van, 55, never got over the death of his wife. After having spent 20 months sleeping on top of her grave, he got tired of the wind and the cold, and decided to dig a tunnel so he can reach his wife and sleep with her. Somehow, his children managed to convince him that this wasn’t such a good idea.

Now on to plan B: Van dug up her corpse, brought it back home, and moulded clay to give her the shape of a woman. He then dressed her up with clothes, laid her in bed, and slept beside her.

“I’m a person that does things differently. I’m not like normal people,” he explained.
