Workers in an office block in London noticed that there was a car crash every other day in a nearby roundabout, by the main A34. Suspicious, they alerted the authorities.
It turns out this was the work of Mohammed Patel, 24, who staged accidents for 500 pounds a pop. According to the police, he managed to stage 92 car crashes between 2005 and 2008. On average, his clients managed to claim 17,000 pounds from their insurance company.
Such an innovative entrepreneur will undoubtedly pull the automobile industry out of the slump and the UK out of the recession.
