During a reception at Buckingham Palace for visiting Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Prince Philip told businessman Atul Patel:

“There’s a lot of your family in tonight.”

This wisecrack at the Indian man’s last name was meant to imply that all Patels are related. Patel is the second most popular name in India after Singh, and Britain’s 24^th most common name.
