Joshua Phillips, 28, should have thought twice before burglarizing a Pennsylvania convenience store by throwing a brick through the window just after a snow storm.

The Altoona police had no trouble following his footsteps in the fresh snow, all the way to his relatives’ house. Phillips pretended to have been asleep all night, even though police found a pair of wet sneakers and two pairs of wet trousers with him.
